Whew, this girl was TIRED during this grocery trip… it was a jump out of bed, run to here, run to there, work, run back home throw the groceries into some semblance of a recipe and sprint out the door to the Super Bowl kind of day. All the non-clean eating things you see in this trip were either for the hubs or for one of the 2 recipes I made for the Super Bowl.

And with that being said, since I bought all our groceries for the week and party food I went over budget which I expected and that’s ok. My favorite deal this week was on the Chobani. It was on sale 10/$10 so I went to their website, printed out the $.30/1 coupon and it doubled for $.60 off so each Chobani was only $.40 each!

I learned from 100 Days of Real Food that one of the least processed snacks/crackers you can buy at the store is Triscuits so I got two big boxes of those while they were BOGO. If my budget wasn’t already doomed, I would’ve bought more! I bought lots of fruits and veggies as well as deli meat (the chicken that was on sale) and salmon as well as cheese and nuts–lots of high ticket items that were on sale.

So, there you have it…my weekly grocery shopping trip in a nut shell.
