Yes, that’s a lot of groceries I just bought! My total and my savings were both a lot more than usual! I saved $53.63!! I saved around $15 just in coupons alone, let alone the special price savings and discounts. There was lots of good produce, dairy, and some seafood savings that I wanted to scoop up.
The deal I was most excited about was the Smart Balance milk. It was on sale 2/$5, however when you go to their Facebook page you can print off a mystery coupon! I got a buy one, get one free coupon and then when I shared it on Facebook I got an additional $.50/1 coupon that doubled to $1 off. So, I paid $1.50 for 2 half gallons of Smart Balance milk!!! Now, that is a deal!
I got tons of produce too! Corn, avocado, grapes, onion, green beans, Green Giant BOGO veggies, carrots, bananas, & asparagus. Then we got ingredients I needed for some fall cookies for our old small group reunion which were not on sale. If they turn out well, I’ll post the recipe. They’re pumpkin spice cookies, love me some fall desserts & drinks!
Another great deal was the Arm & Hammer toothpaste that was on sale BOGO paired with a $1/1 coupon from their website that made it only $.70. The only items I got that weren’t on sale were the hot dog buns (for the BOGO Hebrew National all beef light hot dogs), bananas, and the canned pumpkin.
