By now, I’m sure many of you know I’m an Auburn fan! We went down to the lovely plains 2 weeks ago to watch Auburn play Arkansas. I’m not going to lie, it wasn’t a pretty loss but we had a great time as always in Auburn on game day. The energy, Auburn spirit, and cheers are contagious.
We had to stop by Toomer’s Corner of course to get their legendary lemonade. It is SO good with it’s old school fresh pressed lemons! Toomer’s corner is right where the trees are that get rolled as well. There is so much history and excitement around the city that I love to feel a part of on game day!
Eric and I decked out in our Auburn gear and drove from Birmingham early Saturday morning. I borrowed a necklace from my sweet friend Erin and also borrowed the blue dress from my sis. My orange flower earrings are a couple of years old and I don’t even remember where they’re from!
After the Tigers totally started to unwind in the 4th quarter, we left early to head to Niffer’s for their delicious corn nuggets. I usually don’t really like fried foods that much, but these are just amazing. On the inside is warm and gooey creamed corn and then the exterior is crispy for an amazing texture change. I also had a pretzel roll roast beef & cheesy sandwich & the hubs’ had their BLT which has fried green tomatoes. So yummy!
