It really makes me sad how many families eat out every meal and it is the “norm” that mom or dad don’t cook. I grew up in a family where my mom cooked Sunday-Thursday, I took leftovers for lunch each day, and we all sat down for dinner together. Not only was it about good food but it was about reconnecting around the dinner table w/ my parents and my sister.
I’m writing about this because it’s Family Week! And in order to celebrate the family, E-Mealz is celebrating dinner at home with those you love for the week, so make an effort to “eat in” and with your family. Download their free menu to prepare for family week! The Family Week menu is a free pdf file download from the left hand navigation of their website.
E-Mealz is offering lots of freebies for you including recipes, family activities and a free Family Day menu that feeds 4 to 6, and includes Susan’s spaghetti casserole, simple salad, garlic bread, & blueberry crunch for dessert. The grocery list is priced at Walmart Supercenter and is broken into categories for easier shopping.
