Mmmmm, this kind of recipe is one of my favorites. It was easy, cheap, and tasted good; color me impressed. You, flakey chicken, are just the kind of recipe I’m looking to add to my go to repertoire.
Flakey Chicken:
1 lb chicken breasts, cutlets, etc
1 1/2 c cornflakes
1 T sesame seeds
1 t paprika
1/2 t salt
1/2 t black pepper
1/4 c milk
Preheat oven to 400F. Place cornflakes in a large plastic zippered bag, close tightly & crush. Add sesame seeds, paprika, salt, pepper to bag & mix well. Set aside. Place milk in small bowl and dip a piece of chicken into it, place it in the bag of cornflake mixture. Shake well to coat, then remove the chicken from the bag and place in a baking pan. Repeat for all of the chicken. Bake for 20 min, or until juices run clear.
Another great thing about this recipe is you probably have most of the ingredients on hand. As you can see, we just ate broccoli and some Jiffy mix cornbread muffins on the side.
